Akhir 25, 1432 H/March 30, 2011, SPA -- Energy ministers from the Group of 20 countries will discuss safety tests on nuclear plants following the Japanese crisis before the end of June, Reuters quoted French Energy Minister Eric Besson as saying on Wednesday. A meeting of energy advisers has already been set for April 5 in Abu Dhabi, but the venue of the ministerial gathering has not been set yet. "Before the end of June, I will bring together G20 energy ministers in order to reach operational conclusions about safety tests," Besson told parliament. President Nicolas Sarkozy is due to arrive in Japan on Thursday, the first leader to visit the country since an earthquake and tsunami damaged a nuclear plant and caused the worst nuclear crisis since Chernobyl in 1986. France holds the presidency of the G20 group of economic powers.
