Akhir 25, 1432, March 30, 2011, SPA -- The activities of Uzbekistan's Cultural Days were launched here on Tuesday evening in the presence of Acting Deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Information for International Relations Eng. Saleh bin Abdulaziz Al-Moghailith and Uzbekistan's Deputy Minister of Culture and Sports Bakhodir M. Akhmedov. An exhibition was held displaying samples of Uzbekistan's heritage. Addressing the ceremony, Al-Moghailith pointed out that mutual cultural activities between the two countries and their peoples aim to promote cultural relations between the two countries and to disseminate the Kingdom's culture to all the peoples of the world. On his part, Akhmedov expressed his thanks to the Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Muhaydin Khoja and Prince Turki Ibn Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Culture and Information, for the warm reception and generous hospitality, noting that the exchanges of visits between officials of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Uzbekistan enhance friendship between the two countries and open prospects of cooperation in the fields of arts and artistic and cultural exhibitions.
