Akhir 22, 1432, March 27, 2011, SPA -- Egyptian Prime Minister Essam Sharaf arrived here today on his first foreign visit. On arrival at Khartoum Airport, he was greeted by Second Vice President Ali Othman Mohammed Taha and a number of ministers. The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Dr. Nabil Al-Arabi said the visit is to project a message about the importance of Sudan, both "north, and south" for Egypt and the importance of Egypt for the Sudan. He also indicated that the visit would focus on several issues of common interest and that the (Egyptian Prime Minister's) talks would also take into consideration issues relating to the File of Nile Basin, agriculture, economy and electricity.
