Akhir 21, March 26, 2011, SPA -- Pakistani security sources reported that 15 persons were freed from a group of hostages, who were abducted yesterday during an attack by unidentified gunmen on a bus in the district of Kurram, located in the tribal region of Pakistan bordering Afghanistan. Those who were freed this morning among the hostages included women and children, the sources said, adding that the search is continuing for the rest of the five to 20 hostages. The attack occurred on the road to Batshnaar, Peshawar, when insurgents launched an attack on the bus opened fire on them, killing eight people, while the gunmen took the rest of the passengers to an unknown location.
