Kharj, Saudi Arabia, Rabi Al-Akhir 20, 1432 H/March 25, 2011, SPA -- Saud Al-Othman, Director of Education in Al-Kharj Province, some 100 kilometers south of Riyadh, announced this evening that, due to continuing heavy wave of sandstorm sweeping the area and after having consulted with Prince Abdulrahman bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Al-Kharj Province, schools in the province would be closed for tomorrow (Saturday). In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, Al-Othman said that suspending study for tomorrow comes within his administration's keenness on the safety and health of female and male pupils and students in the province.
