Akhir 18, 1432, March 23, 2011, SPA -- The Secretary General of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, has strongly condemned the aggression of the Israeli Occupation Forces on the Gaza Strip, considering this brutal crime that targeted civilians and children, a dangerous escalation and a flagrant violation of the international law. In press statement issued today, Ihsanoglu held Israeli authorities responsible for the consequences (of such crimes). He called on the UN Security Council and the United Nations to shoulder their responsibilities to stop this Israeli military escalation against the Palestinian people and compel the Israeli occupation forces to respect the international law.
