Akhir 17, 1432, March 22, 2011 SPA -- Seventeen Palestinians were injured following a series of air strikes by Israeli warplanes on several targets in Gaza City and northern and southern areas of Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian medical and security sources. Seventeen residents, including seven children and two women were injured in the Israeli raids on the Gaza Strip, said Adham Abu Salemah, spokesman for ambulance and emergency Committee. According to security sources and witnesses, Israeli aircrafts launched an air raid on a security site belonging to Hamas government in northern Gaza Strip and the other targeted training site belonging to Al Ahrar Movement (a small Palestinian faction) west of Gaza City. Israeli warplanes also targeted a training site for Al-Qassam Brigades in Gaza City, also raided in the same area a factory for construction materials and metal workshop, the sources said. According to eye witnesses, Israeli aircraft bombed a warehouse that belongs to the Municipality of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip, and also targeted a group of activists near the town of Khuza'a, east of Khan Younis city, causing no casualties. A third raid of the Israeli aircraft targeted a non-developed land in the same area.
