Death Toll in Pakistan Coal Mine Explosion Rises to 24

Akhir 16, 1432, March 21, 2011, SPA -- The death toll from a coal mine accident in south-western Pakistan rose to 24 on Monday, while 25 more miners were still trapped underground, officials said.
A methane gas explosion on Sunday caused the mine collapse at Sor-Range Collieries 16 kilometers east of Quetta, the capital of Baluchistan province, according to a report of the German Press Agency "DPA".
