A Ka-26 helicopter with two crewmembers aboard crashed on Ufa's outskirts near the village of Vosmoye Marta on Saturday, a police source in the republic told Itar-Tass. The pilots with injuries were hospitalized. There were no victims and damage on the ground. Experts are investigating the causes of the crash. As a Bashkir Emergencies Ministry official reported to Itar-Tass from the site, the vertical rudder of the burnt helicopter was seen. According to the preliminary reports, the helicopter crew carried out a flight of the local aero club. For unclear reasons, the helicopter sank sharply and fell onto the ground.
