Akhir 14, 1432 / March 19, 2011, SPA -- Majlis Al-Shoura Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh received here today President of Spanish Senate Javier Rojo who is on a three-day official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the invitation of the Majlis Al-Shoura Speaker. During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest in addition to ways of enhancing parliamentary relations between the two countries. In a statement following the meeting, the President of Spanish Senate commended the speech of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud addressed the Saudi people yesterday, saying that the royal orders will contribute to the prosperity of the Saudi people. Following the meeting, the members of Spanish delegation toured the facilities of Majlis Al-Shoura where they were briefed on its departments by the Assistant Speaker of Shoura Council. The Speaker of Majlis Al-Shoura held a luncheon in honor of the visiting President of Spanish Senate and the accompanying delegation.
