Winding up of Military Exercise Tiger1

Akhir 11, 1432, March 16, 2011, SPA-- In collaboration with the French side, the functions of Exercise Tiger1 wound up here today in the presence of the Commander of Land Forces Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Marshad.
The Exercise witnessed free landing from C 160 aircrafts of a group of commandos, meanwhile, another commandos group conducted a tactical landing to secure the logistical landing zone.
Following the end of the exercise, the French commander of special operations command Maj. Gen. Bête Fidgille delivered the National Merit Order - Grade of Chivalry - which was awarded to him by the French President- to the Assistant Commander of Special Forces Brigade 64 Brigadier Mansur Salim Al-Harbi.
Commander of Land Forces Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Marshad lauded the exercise, at its end, which he described as a qualitative shift in the Special Forces performance.
