Akhir 06 , 1432 H. / March 11, 2011 -- Prince Turki Alfaisal, Chairman of the Board of Directors of King Faisal Centre for Research and Islamic Studies, met last night with United Nations' Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. The meeting was held within the framework of convening the high ranking council for peace and dialogue among civilizations emanating from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud's initiative for dialogue among the followers of religions and cultures called for by the UNESCO. During the meeting, the UN official highlighted the king's efforts for dialogue and the kingdom's role in the international community. In turn, Prince Turki Alfaisal underlined king's efforts for dialogue and the UN's role in promoting peace and development.
