Akhir 04, March 09, 2011, SPA -- Egypt's Alexandria Port Authority decided today to close down the ports of Alexandria Boughazi and Dekheila harbors due to bad weather. An Egyptian official source at the port of Alexandria said in a statement this morning that an increase in wind speed and wave heights prompted the authorities to close the two ports to avoid collision of vessels with each other, any prospective hassles in berthing and for the sake of safety of maritime navigation.
