Akhir 04, 1432, March 09, 2011, SPA-- Prince Dr. Mansour Ibn Meteb Ibn Abdulaziz, Minister of Municipalities and Rural Affairs patronized here on Tuesday evening an honoring ceremony organized by the Ministry for participants in the implementation, supervision, operation and follow-up of modern Jamarat facility at the Holy Site of Mina. Addressing the ceremony, Prince Dr. Mansour said," Allah Almighty has honored the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the service of pilgrims. Since the reign of the Founder late King Abdulaziz Ibn Abdulrahman until the present era, the Kingdom has been honored with the provision of services, facilities, safety, and comfort to pilgrims." He expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier for their support and follow up of the completion of modern Jamarat facility at the Holy Site of Mina, also expressing his thanks to Prince Meteb Ibn Abdulaziz, who has initiated and followed up the implementation of projects at the Holy Sites. In another speech, the official Spokesman of Ministry of Interior Major General Mansour Al-Turki reviewed the lessons learned from the operation of Jamarat facility, stressing that Jamarat bridge is considered as a project reflecting the interest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the service of pilgrims and the facilitation of the performance of Hajj rituals.
