Hague: Palestinian Delegation in Britain to be upgraded

Akhir 02, 1432 H/March 7, 2011, SPA -- The Palestinian General Delegation in Britain is to
be upgraded to the level of a mission, dpa cited British Foreign Secretary
William Hague as saying Monday.
The Palestinian General Delegation in London, which refers to
itself as an embassy, is headed by Ambassador Manuel Sarkis
Hassassian.
Hague made his announcement in parliament ahead of a meeting with
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, scheduled for Tuesday. Abbas is
also due to have talks with Prime Minister David Cameron.
