Awwal 30, 1432 H/March 5, 2011, SPA -- The Secretariat of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud International Prize for Translation announced here today the winners of the prize for the year 1431 H. - 2010 G. The winners were announced in a ceremony held under the patronage of Prince Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Member of the Board of Directors of King Abdulaziz Public Library and President of the Prize's Council of Trustees. In a speech on the occasion, Prince Abdulaziz highlighted the king's support for the prize and for promotion of cultural and civilization dialogue among nations and peoples. The winners of the prize were the Arab Translation Organization; Dr. Mohammad bin Abdullah Alzghaibi; Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Alghasham; Dr. Yosif Ahmad Barakat; Dr. George Zaitani; Dr. Mohammad Badawi; Dr. France Shob; Dr. Yolanda Ghowardi and Hosain bin Shainah. Two translators were honored. They were Dr. Chong Jaikon and Dr. Mohammad A'nani.
