Awwal 27, 1432, March 02, 2011, SPA -- Five water-wells have been dug and declared open for consuming their drinking-water in Chad in Central West Africa, with the assistance of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY), which are expected to benefit 4,000 persons. A report of WAMY's Office in Chad said four of these wells were dug on the outskirts of the capital, N'Djamena, and the 5th one was dug in Bandar Abdullah Saadi town, 300 kilometers from the capital city. WAMY's Assistant Secretary-General in Makkah Province Dr. Mohammad Ba-Dahdah hailed the generous support provided by philanthropists to WAMY 's programs and projects. There are approximately 9 million Muslims among a population of more than 11 million inhabitants in Chad, an African country located in the South of Sahara.
