Awwal 25, 1432, Feb 28, 2011, SPA -- Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai left here today for London on an official three-day visit to Britain. A statement of the Presidential Palace said President Karzai will hold a series of talks with British Prime Minister David Cameron to discuss the security situation, the reconstruction of Afghanistan and the British assistance. The Afghan President will also hold a meeting with senior British officials, including Defense Secretary Liam Fox and Foreign Secretary Alistair Burt to discuss the transfer of security tasks of the international forces led by NATO to Afghan forces, which is scheduled to start during the summer of this year.
