Awwal 24, 1432 H/Feb 27, 2011, SPA -- A team of Arab anti-terrorism experts recommended the continuation of Arab efforts in the United Nations, through coordination with the Islamic Group and other groups to adopt a resolution by the UN General Assembly to establish the International Centre for Counter-Terrorism proposed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Concluding their 10th meeting held at the headquarters of the Arab League here today, the Arab counter-terrorism experts also stressed urging the Arab countries that have not ratified yet the Arab Anti-Terrorism Convention to ratify it, calling for the need to seek to forge a unified Arab position of counter-terrorism issues at the regional and international levels. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia participated in the two-day meeting by a delegation representing the Ministries of Justice, Interior and Foreign Affairs in addition to a representative of the Permanent Mission of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League.
