Awwal 23, 1432 H/Feb 26, 2011, SPA -- Minister of Culture and Information, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja received here today members of the World Congress of News Agencies that will hold its first meeting to prepare for the 4th International Conference of News Agencies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 2013. Currently on a visit to Saudi Arabia, the members expressed congratulations for the safe return home of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud after a successful therapeutic trip. They also thanked Dr. Khoja for the hospitality and good organization shown during their meetings. The members of the Congress briefed the Minister on the agenda of the congress and preparations for the next coming session of the Congress. For his part, the Minister of Culture and Information stressed the importance of press and media in broadcasting information and news items and distributing them. He also emphasized the significance of social communication and interaction with new generations via the social networks to bridge the gap among the successive generations.
