Awwal 22, 1432 H/Feb 25, 2011, SPA -- Uganda's recently re-elected president says he will «eat» his challenger who disputed poll results and called for peaceful protests, AP reported. President Yoweri Museveni said Friday of Kizza Besigye, who took 26 percent to place second in last week's poll: «we will catch him and eat him like a cake.» Besigye said the poll was rigged and called for protests and a new election. International observers cited irregularities. Ugandan officials rejected those claims. Museveni, who has ruled for 25 years, has said he will jail anyone who attempts Egypt-style protests. Besigye was jailed after protesting his loss in 2006 polls. -- SPA
