Blizzard warnings were issued for parts of North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota, as forecasters expect a cold front and heavy snow there, the National Weather Service said in a statement. About 25 centimeters of snow has already dropped in parts of Michigan since midday Sunday, where freezing rain and heavy sleet is also expected, meteorologists said.
