Awwal 18, 1432 H/Feb 21, 2011, SPA -- Suicide bombers have detonated a vehicle at a police training camp in the Somali capital Mogadishu, killing at least 14 people, government and police officials said Monday. Police spokesman Abdullahi Hassan Barise said a vehicle full of explosives, with four people on board including a woman, came hurtling toward the gate of the training camp in Hamar Jajab district. While guards opened fire on the vehicle, killing the driver, it still rammed through the gate and exploded just inside the compound, dpa quoted Barise as saying. The government said 14 people were killed in total, including three civilians and the four suicide bombers. At least 35 were injured.
