Awwal 18, 1432, Feb 21, 2011, SPA -- At least Six people were killed and three others wounded in a missile strike launched by a U.S. drone (pilotless spy plane) last night in the province of South Waziristan, believed to have some elements of Taliban. The province is situated in the tribal belt of Pakistan, bordering Afghanistan. Pakistan's "Geo News" Channel quoted Pakistani security sources as saying that the American plane fired three guided missiles at a house in the town of 'Azam Warsak', at a distance of 10 kilometers from the town of Wana, the provincial capital which led to the collapse of a house, some deaths and injuries. Local sources said that among the dead were foreign militants without identifying their nationalities. The death toll is expected to increase because of critical injuries among the wounded.
