Awwal 17, 1432 H/Feb 20, 2011, SPA -- The Islamic Association of China (IAC) held here today, a ceremony in honor of the Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki and the accompanying delegation, who is currently on a visit to Taiwan to participate in an International Conference on "Dialogue, a Common Human Bond". The conference is organized by the MWL in collaboration with IAC and will be opened on Monday (tomorrow). At the outset of the ceremony, the IAC President Dr. Ibrahim Jao delivered a speech welcoming the MWL Secretary General and the accompanying delegation. Dr. Jao described Dr. Al-Turki's visit as a significant impact in strengthening cooperation and solidarity among Muslims in Taiwan and their brethren in various parts of the world. Then, the MWL Secretary General also delivered a speech in which he praised officials in Taiwan and the IAC for the preparation of this conference.
