Awwal 16, 1432 H/Feb 19, 2011, SPA -- The Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) has participated in the activities of 26th session of Islamic Committee of the International Crescent (ICIC) held in the city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on 10-11 February, 2011 which was organized by the ICIC Secretariat in collaboration with the Malaysian Red Crescent and the International Islamic University. Concluded its activities, the session issued a number of recommendations topped by the strengthen of cooperation and support for the efforts of humanitarian organizations concerned to protect civilians in times of armed conflicts. It also adopted "Kuala Lumpur Declaration" on the Islamic rules for the protection of civilians in armed conflicts.
