Awwal 13, 1432, Feb 16, 2011, SPA -- The Minister of Transport Dr. Jubarah Eid Al-Suraysiri, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Railroads Organization announced today that 4 passengers stations at a cost of SR 9,385,554,311 will be established for Al-Haramain High Speed Train during two and a half years from the start of its execution. In a press conference here this morning, Dr. Al-Suraysiri said that he signed here last week four contracts to build passengers stations for Al-Haramain High Speed Train in Jeddah, Makkah and Madinah, in addition to a station in Rabigh to serve King Abdullah Economic City. It is worth mentioning that the costs of the first phase of the train project including reclamation works and building bridges to the roads of the train amounted to SR 6,785,000,000 to facilitate the movement of pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors of the Prophet's Mosque in the holy sites.
