Awwal 12, 1432, Feb 15, 2011, SPA -- The U.N. Security Council on Monday urged Thailand and Cambodia to agree on a permanent ceasefire. Brazil's ambassador, Maria Viotti, who holds the council presidency for February made the call after a closed door session with foreign ministers from Cambodia, Thailand, and Indonesia who are trying to mediate the Thai-Cambodian dispute. “Members of the Security Council urge the parties to establish a permanent ceasefire and to implement it fully,” Viotti said.
