Awwal 10, 1432, Feb 13, 2011, SPA -- Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr Abu Bakr Al-Qirbi received today a message from the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, inviting Yemen to participate in the inaugural ceremony of the General Assembly of the International Agency for Renewable Energy to be held in Abu Dhabi during the period from April 04-05, 2011. The message was handed over to Dr Al-Qirbi by the UAE Ambassador to Yemen Abdullah Matar Al-Mazrouei during a meeting earlier today in Sanaa. The two sides discussed the ongoing preparations for the convening of the Conference of the Friends of Yemen to be held in Riyadh in March (2011), and mechanisms for ensuring that the conference would come out with practical results and commitments.
