Awwal 10, Feb 13, 2011, SPA -- Yemeni Foreign Minister Dr. Abu Bakr Abdullah Al-Qirbi met here today with U.S. Ambassador to Yemen, Gerald Verstein to make arrangements for the forthcoming visit of Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh to the United States and its role in promoting bilateral relations and widening horizons of cooperation as well as in achieving the common interests of the two countries and peoples. The meeting also dealt with procedures for holding the next ministerial meeting of the Group of Friends of Yemen scheduled to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia during the month of March and its importance in mobilizing international support for development programs in Yemen.
