Awwal 09, 1432 H/Feb 12, 2011, SPA -- Russian police on Saturday arrested some 20 activists at the end of an authorized opposition protest, arguing that the demonstrators had attempted to launch an unapproved march in the streets around the Kremlin. Among those detained was the organizer of the so-called Day of Wrath, Sergei Udalzov, dpa quoted Interfax news agency reporting. Prior to the arrests, some 300 people had protested peacefully, brandishing signs and chanting slogans, police said. It was the first time that Moscow authorities had approved a Day of Wrath rally.
