Awwal 07, 1432, Feb 10, 2011, SPA -- Abdulrahman bin Hamad Al-Atiyyah, Secretary General of the Riyadh-based Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), met in Seoul today with Korea's Prime Minister Dr. Chung On Chan. During the meeting, relations between GCC member countries and South Korea and ways of promoting them in all fields were reviewed. The role of the GCC Days currently ongoing in Seoul in further consolidating ties and exchanging experiences between the two sides was hailed. Later, Al-Atiyyah met with Park Hee Tae, Speaker of South Korean parliament, whereas the two sides discussed ways of enhancing Korean GCC relations, particularly as regards the free trade agreement between the two sides.
