He lauded the two countries' bilateral political relations, describing them as identical. He reiterated Saudi Arabia's position on the Palestinian issue, calling for the peaceful restoration of the usurped Arab lands and the establishment of the Palestinian state with Al-Quds as its capital. On the incidents in Egypt, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister expressed confidence that Egyptians would overpass the ordeal and seek a peaceful solution to the crisis, in a way that would not negatively affect its economy or tamper its stability and security. In this regard, he expressed strong denunciation to the flagrant interference of some countries in Egypt's internal affairs, contrary to the diplomatic and political norms and the United Nations charter. On Tunisia, he expressed hope that the Arab Islamic country would soon restore normal life and achieve success to rectify the impacts of the crisis. For his part, the Moroccan minister stated his country's position on the situations in the region, particularly the Palestinian issue.
