Awwal 06, 1432 H/Feb 09, 2011, SPA -- Jordan's King Abdullah II on Wednesday issued a decree approving the formation of a new 27-member cabinet led by ex-premier Marouf Bakhit, dpa reported. The new cabinet replaces the government of former prime minister Samir Rifai, which the monarch sacked last week. In his designation letter to Bakhit, King Abdullah underlined the importance of carrying out "real political and economic reforms."
