Awwal 06, Feb 09, 2011, SPA -- Police say a remote-controlled bomb exploded next to a cattle market in northwest Pakistan, killing one person and wounding three others. Police official Liaquat Ali Khan confirmed the bombing in the northwest Charsadda area, saying it used around 6 pounds (3 kilograms) of explosives. Government official Saeed Iqbal said in the eastern city of Gujranwala, two bombs hit police stations minutes apart. Hours later, a bomb struck a rest house used by government officials, according to a report of the Associated Press.
