Saudi Arabia Participates in Munich Security Conference

Awwal 03, 1432 H/Feb 06, 2011, SPA -- Prince Dr. Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Kabeer, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Multilateral Relations led his country's delegation to the 47th Munich Security Conference and seminar on disarmament of weapons of mass destruction and ways to prevent their spread.
In a statement, Prince Dr. Turki bin Mohammed said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was among the first countries that have adopted and supported efforts to make the Middle East a free zone of weapons of mass destruction.
"Kingdom has exerted great efforts to achieve this aim within the framework of Arab League and the United Nations", he added.
