Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, patronized here this evening the reception party, held by the General Presidency of Youth Welfare, in honor of Prince Sultan bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, in recognition of his deeds and efforts for Saudi, Arab and Islamic sports and youth during his term of office as General President of Youth Welfare, President of the Saudi Olympic Committee and the Arab Soccer Federation. Speaking at the event, the celebrated outgoing President thanked Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz for patronizing this selective event as representative of the Saudi leadership, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, his Deputy and the Second Deputy Premier. He also extended thanks to all the attendees, including princes, ministers, directors of departments and personnel of the Youth Welfare, Olympic Committee and the sports federations and clubs. In particular, he extended thanks to Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, who succeeded him in his post and author of the idea to hold this honoring ceremony. In a statement, Prince Nawaf bin Faisal described the event as a lesson in loyalty and faithfulness.
