In implementation of the instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his Deputy Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud directing higher authorities to take decisive measures to alleviate the deep sufferings and great losses sustained by people following Jeddah torrential rain and floods, Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior, today made an inspection tour, using an airplane, over the affected neighborhoods of the city of Jeddah to closely see the size of losses, get informed of the reasons and think about firm solutions and quick remedy. Taking an helicopter which combed the air of the affected areas in Jeddah, Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz was briefed by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Governor of Makkah Region, and members of the ministerial committee assigned to implement the royal instructions, on the efforts exerted by the committee to mitigate the sufferings of the affected people, a prelude to composing a thorough vision about what to be done in all fields in a way that prevents the repetition of what has happened in future, putting the mechanism for executing these goals before forwarding a report to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his deputy. --More
