Belarusian police have detained about 10 people at a candlelight vigil outside KGB headquarters in support of opposition leaders jailed since election-night protests more than a month ago, according to AP. Among the 25 people still being held are three men who ran against authoritarian President Alexander Lukashenko. Several dozen people took part in Sunday night's protest, which lasted for about five minutes before police arrived to break it up. Protesters stood quietly holding candles and pictures of those in jail. The KGB released one former presidential candidate Saturday. The arrests brought widespread criticism from the United States and European Union. EU foreign ministers meet Monday in Brussels and are expected to discuss imposing new sanctions.
