The 16th African Union (AU) Summit began its works here today, which was devoted to re-launching efforts to resolve the crisis in Ivory Coast and celebrate the expected announcement for the secession of southern Sudan. The current Chairman of the AU President Bingu Wa Mutharika opened the regular session of the African Union Summit in the presence of more than two dozen heads of state.
