The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Muhaydin Khoja patronized here on Monday evening a cultural event organized by Riyadh Literary Club in cooperation with Al-Jazirah Newspaper for honoring Saudi Writer Abdullah bin Khamis, who is the first president of the Club and the founder of the Newspaper. Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Khoja said, " We honor sciences, creativity and successes when we honor one of our cultural icons", noting that the Writer won the State Award in Literature in 1403H. "Moreover, Bin Khamis was selected as a literary personality to be honored at The Heritage and Culture Festival of Al Janaderyah in 1422H."
