U.S. police found empty containers of explosives detonators on Monday inside an American Airlines passenger airplane at a Miami, Florida international airport, triggering a security alert. Fire crews and police surrounded the airplane, which arrived from Brazil, Miami-Dade police department spokeswoman Edna Hernandez said. “The containers are empty. There were no explosives, no detonators, nothing inside them.”
