Riyadh Economic Forum is currently completing a study on investments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia whose results and recommendations will be submitted to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz, who has sponsored the Forum. In a statement today to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Chairman of the Forum's Board of Trustees Engineer Saad Al-Moajal, said that the Forum's study will assess investment in the Kingdom including the results of the final recommendations of the Forum. He also underlined the need to explore inputs to diagnose the status of foreign investment and know the pros and cons to make the most of these investments beneficial for boosting growth and diversifying the national economy. "The objective of the study includes the pursuit of assessment of foreign investment during the last decade in terms of quantity and quality and to see economic and social returns of these investments and their contribution to the economic diversification, "Al-Moajal said. He also highlighted the contribution of the national private sector and creation of competition, as well as its contribution to the generation of employment opportunities for the national labor as well as working to overcome obstacles and problems facing the flow of such investments. --MORE
