The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his residence in New York on Tuesday evening the United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon. At the outset of the audience, Ban Ki-moon expressed his pleasure over meeting with the King to be reassured about the King's health following the successful surgery which he has recently undergone and his discharge from a hospital, wishing the King constant good health and recovery. On his part, the King expressed his thanks to and appreciation of the United Nations Secretary General for his noble feelings. They discussed the latest developments at regional and international arenas, and the efforts being exerted by the United Nations for the achievement of peace and security in the world, as well as its relief efforts in the affected areas. The audience was attended by Prince Muqrin Ibn Abdulaziz, President of General Intelligence Presidency; Prince Bandar Ibn Sultan Ibn Abdulaziz, Secretary General of the National Security Council; Prince Meteb Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz, Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and Chief of the National Guard; Prince Abdulaziz Ibn Abdullah Ibn Abdulaziz, Advisor to the King; Saudi Ambassador to the United States of America Adel Bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, and Saudi Arabia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Khalid Al-Nefaisi.
