Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al Sabah and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday opened a conference on Arab-Turkish relations. The two-day meeting, which brought together senior Kuwaiti officials and economists, will review historic ties and common values between Turkey and the Arab world as well as the media's role in advancing relations, Jordan News Agency (Petra) reported. The gathering, coinciding with an official visit to Kuwait by Erdogan, came a day after the opening of another conference on Arab-Turkish parliamentary dialogue which got underway on Monday.
