A million residents in Panama have been without drinking water after the Central American nation's water system was overwhelmed following heavy rains. In many parts of the capital, long queues have formed to receive water from trucks. President Ricardo Martinelli has dubbed it an unbearable situation, according to a report of German Press Agency "DPA." Heavy rains last month led to the contamination of the water supply, prompting a run on bottled-water at grocery stores.
