U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon on Monday called for restraint in Tunisia where bloody clashes in the North African country have claimed 14 lives over the weekend. "The secretary-general is concerned about the escalation of violent clashes between security forces and protestors in Tunisia, and the resulting deaths and injuries," Ban's press office said in a note to journalists. "The Secretary-General calls for restraint and urges all parties to seek to resolve differences through dialogue."
