The Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, chaired here on Sunday evening a joint meeting of Majlis' two specialized committees in the presence of the Minister of Labor Eng. Adel Bin Mohammad Faqih. In his speech, the Minister of Labor emphasized the Ministry's keenness and interest in cooperation and communication with Majlis Al-Shura and its specialized agencies to discuss all matters, to overcome obstacles and to find solutions and systems that improve the performance of the Ministry of Labor. The meeting discussed a number of topics, including a proposal submitted by a number of members of Majlis Al-Shura on the reduction of visa fees recruitment, residence permits for domestic workers, employment of Saudis in the private sector, and Saudization of taxis. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Labor Dr. Abdulwahid bin Khalid Al-Hameed.
