Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan will start a visit to Syria before the end of this month to participate in the celebration of the launch of the Friendship Dam on the River "Al-Assi". Press Sources said today that Erdogan and Syrian Prime Minister Muhammad Naji Al-Otari will jointly lay the foundation stone of the Dam project between Syria and Turkey in the region of Ain El Zarka in Edlib governorate on January 26, 2011. Later, Erdogan will also have a meeting President Bashar Al-Assad. On the fringe of this meeting on the same day, the Foreign Ministers of Syria, Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan will also meet in Damascus to discuss regional cooperation frameworks between the four countries in preparation of a high-level meeting to be held in Istanbul next month at the level of prime ministers for the same purpose.
