A drug dealer was arrested by Abu Dhabi Police while trying to sell 50 kilograms of hashish, worth AED 400,000. According to Brigadier Hammad Al Hammadi, Director of Criminal Investigations Department, the police was tipped off last September that N.M, 22, an unemployed drug dealer was intending to smuggle a large quantity of drugs. An undercover policeman posed as a potential buyer and managed to close a deal to buy two kilograms of hashish from N.M. who was arrested while handing him the drugs, placed inside 49 plastic containers bearing name of a designer cosmetic brand. The police also arrested two suspects who are believed to have aided the dealer, WAM reported.
